We Finally Have A Rivalry Again

It’s been a while, and the game might have ended in a blowout, but the rivalry between Miami and FSU is finally back in the national spotlight.

Jimbo Fisher and Al Golden have brought their once storied programs back to life with resembling records of the good old days.  After starting 12-7 at FSU, Fisher and the Noles have reeled off 27 out of their last 30 wins.  In Miami, Golden started with an 11-11 record, going 9-1 since.

Top ten showdowns in the national spotlight brings back memories of when Dorsey was the quarterback, Bowden was the coach, Irvin was the receiver and “Primetime” was at corner.

It’s one of the historically great rivalries in the country, and all college football fans are relieved.
